Stanislav Grof, psychiatrist and researcher of altered states of consciousness for healing, transformation, and evolution of psyche, argues that the scientific and industrial revolutions, evolution of materialistic science and technology, and patriarchal mind are behind the progressive alienation from our biological nature and disconnectedness from nature and the spiritual source, our true sacred core.
